About Us
Built on Lived Experience, Guided by Hope
Resilience Revival Peer Support Services exists so no one in North Carolina has to face recovery, housing, or everyday challenges alone.
Who We Are
Resilience Revival Peer Support Services was founded on a simple belief — that people who have walked the road of recovery themselves can light the way for others. What began as a commitment to fill the gaps left by clinical care has grown into a peer support agency serving individuals and families across North Carolina.
Our team comes to this work with real lived experience — navigating mental health and substance use recovery, rebuilding housing and independence, and finding steady ground after hard seasons. That experience shapes everything we do, from the first phone call to the last step of a personal goal.
Every person we serve is met with dignity and without judgment. We listen first, plan together, and walk alongside you at your pace.
Our Mission
To empower individuals on their journey to wellness by connecting them with peers who have lived similar experiences — fostering resilience, independence, and a stronger quality of life through compassionate, person-centered support.
Our Vision
A North Carolina where every person facing mental health, substance use, or life-transition challenges can find understanding, practical support, and a community that believes in their ability to rebuild.
Our Core Values
Four commitments guide every conversation, referral, and plan we build.
Dignity
We treat every person as the expert on their own life — with respect, privacy, and unconditional positive regard.
Empathy
Our peers have been there. We listen without judgment because we understand, firsthand, how hard the first steps can be.
Resilience
Recovery isn't a straight line. We celebrate every step forward and stand steady through the setbacks.
Community
Healing happens in connection. We build bridges — to resources, to relationships, and to a life of belonging.
Our Commitment Across North Carolina
We serve individuals and families across the state, in the places where life actually happens — homes, community centers, partner agencies, and neighborhoods. Support shouldn't require traveling hours or fitting into a rigid schedule, so we bring it to you.
We show up for North Carolina not just one conversation at a time, but as a steady, trusted presence in the communities we serve.
Statewide reach
We serve individuals and families throughout North Carolina and help connect you with local resources in your own county.
Community partnerships
We work alongside local agencies, housing providers, treatment programs, and community organizations so no one falls through the cracks.
Meeting people where they are
Support happens in everyday settings — on your schedule, in your community, at a pace that works for you.
Why Peer Support Works
There's a reason peer support works: hope is contagious. When you sit down with someone who has faced similar challenges and come out the other side, trust builds faster and goals feel possible. Our peers offer more than encouragement — they share practical strategies that only come from lived experience.
Peer support is also flexible and practical. While clinical care focuses on diagnosis and treatment, peer support focuses on daily life: building routines, navigating systems, finding housing, preparing for work, and staying connected. It fills the gaps between appointments and keeps momentum going between them.
Peer support is not clinical therapy, counseling, or medical treatment — and it is not a replacement for them. Our peers walk alongside you and coordinate with your existing care, but we do not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical services.
